The importance of the carbon cycle and how we can use natural systems to regenerate our planet with COURTNEY WHITE is a former archaeologist and environmental activist as well as a cofounder of the Quivira Coalition, a non-profit dedicated to building bridges between ranchers, conservationists, public land managers, scientists, and others around practices that improve land health. Today, his conservation work focuses on fostering economic and ecological resilience for working landscapes, with a special emphasis on carbon ranching and the new agrarian movement.  White is the author of Revolution on the Range: The Rise of a New Ranch in the American West and Grass, Soil, Hope: A Journey through Carbon Country. Doug Fine is an investigative reporter form New Mexico that has written several books including Hemp Bound  which is a blueprint for the return of a billion dollar agricultural economy and a model for energy independence.  He has researched hemp as an agricultural product around the world and is sharing with people in the USA so that we too can benefit from the many positive aspects of the crop that has been used by civilization for more than 10,000 years and it is estimated that there are more than 20,000 applications for this crop.
